Sarah & Ross - Wedding in Pienza
The wedding weekend in Tuscany of Sarah and Ross went by in a blur of love, tears, laughter and they are so grateful for every moment of it. Having everyone they loved in such a beautiful setting in Tuscany was more than they could have ever hoped for. The only way to describe how they felt at the end of the wedding day is a feeling of being overwhelmed with love. It started with the legal ceremony at Pienza town hall which was attended by their parents and witnesses only. This was followed by a welcome drinks at a beautiful rustic hotel in the centre of Pienza, which is where they kicked off the wedding weekend by greeting their guests who had traveled across the globe to be with them. The wedding day itself was the most wonderful day. they were married at 3 pm in front of their nearest and dearest on the top of the Tuscan countryside, looking out across the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia while listening to a beautiful string quartet. The wedding ceremony was followed by drinks and canapés around the pool as the sun went down. After four courses of the most unbelievable food they have ever tasted, they moved onto the party – which started at 10 pm and ended at 4 am! The hangover brunch on the Sunday was exactly what they needed to recover and to bid their guests farewell as the sun set on their Tuscan wedding weekend. The wedding day was a rustic-themed, country style celebration which went on well into the early hours, each little detail was carefully planned. The flowers were beautifully presented on the tables in wooden boxes with candles dotted between and the entire day was based on a palette of blush, taupe and neutrals.
